On December 17, 2016, Anne Curtis finally came out with the announcement that her fans had been eagerly anticipating for years - her long-awaited engagement to Erwann Heusaff.

And since we're talking about Anne Curtis, the engagement announcement wasn't just any ordinary one. The couple chose to share the good news with a video that was posted on the popular video-sharing site, Youtube. The clip was filmed in New York and Connecticut where the couple went on vacation. It proved to be quite a memorable trip for the two of them.

Fans swooned when the video came out last year. For some of the couple's followers, it came as a pre-Christmas treat from the famous couple. But the couple went silent about their plans for the future after they posted the video. Fans had to wait for more than a month for any news about the two.

And now, it seems the wait is over. Anne has finally spoken up about her wedding plans. On Thursday, February 16, 2017, ABS-CBN's Push website released an article highlighting what the actress had to say about her much-anticipated wedding.

Anne had the following to say:

"When the engagement happened, in my mind I always thought it’s not going to happen this year maybe it’s going to happen in another year or am I ready in my career and all the things I want to do in my bucket list? But when you actually meet the one, you just know na ito na talaga yun. So there’s going to be a lot of planning, finding a venue, guest list. Basta, I think meron pang pre-nuptials and everything that we have to organize. So it’s really going to be a very busy year but one filled with love pa rin. My birthday wish this year I guess is just to have a smooth sailing year of wedding planning? (laughs).”

The actress also treated her fans to more good news by sharing her latest endorsement:

"It’s just such a blessing talaga. I really feel that 2017 is going to be a year filled with love. I was in discovered in Jollibee 20 years ago so I guess you all know my age now (laughs). But it was really such a dream come true. Imagine if I wasn’t in Jollibee that very day I would’t be here today,”
