President Rodrigo Duterte fires back at Sen. Trillanes after the latter accused him on having too much money on his bank account. Duterte noted that his family has the means to make money and that it was never from corruption of any kind.

In a video released by PTV 4, Duterte offered to resign if Sen. Trillanes can prove that he has Php 2 Billion worth of bank transactions.

"Ngayon kung ang pamilya mo gutom noon o ngayon huwag mo kami isali. 'Di kami kasing malas sa pamilya mo. 'Di kami mahirap din. Tatay ko governor noon. May iniwan sa amin. Ikaw? Anong naiwan sa iyo? Hangin pati yabang. Tulisan ka sa totoo lang,"

He also defended his common-law wife Cielito "Honeylet" Avanceña saying:
"This is amusing how Trillanes came up with his accounting. He even included day-to-day banking transactions of my partner Honeylet. This just shows his ignorance with regards to the revenue and banking business, the people who have personal businesses," he said.

"Trillanes, alam mo iyong si Honeylet started her donut business 18 years ago. She supplies meat sa five malls dito sa Davao. Siya nagsu-supply ng karne ng baboy. Diyan kalaki pera ng babaeng yan. Matiyaga, hindi kagaya mo ambisyoso,"

He also defended her daughter Sara Duterte who is now the current mayor of Davao City saying:

"He must have also have forgotten that my daughter Sara is a lawyer by profession and that he earns from this and that and she has clients who actually pay for her services and not from illegal retainers which Trillanes is so used so doing,"

After his arguments, he lambasted Trillanes a little further in his 3-minute video

"First, Senator Trillanes is on his last term and would have known nothing to lose if he would resign from office which explains his penchant for always daring president to resign," he said.

"He actually has no political career after his term in office expires in less than two years,"

He ended the video threatening the senator, bringing up the mutiny back in Arroyo's administration, and said:

"It is known in the Senate that Trilanes uses his office to ask for retainers and that this has become a lucrative business for him," he said.

"May mutiny-mutiny ka pa. Wala ka naman palang bayag. Taas agad ang kamay pagdating ng pulis. Nakakahiya ka sa totoo lang,"

The two have had many clashes before this, which started during the elections when Trillanes paid for an anti-Duterte advertisement in Television. Trillanes also sided with Senator De Lima during the height of her heated exchanges with the President.
